Profile：
Dr. Vance N. Owens, Director/Professor of North Central Sun Grant Center at South Dakota State University. As a botanist, he manages up to 50 research grants to support bioenergy projects throughout the USA with total funding exceeding $40 million. Dr. Vance works to achieve Sun Grant Initiative mission of enhancing energy security and improving rural economies, and manages external and internal competitive calls for research proposals.
