Profile

Dr. Zhu Gaozheng, born in Yunlin, Taiwan and he is also the 26th generation descendant of Zhu Xi (1130 – 1200, a confucianist in Song Dynasty). In 1977, Dr.Zhu graduated from the National Taiwan University and majored in law. He went to Germany for further education in 1980 and received a Ph.D. of Philosophy from the University of Bonn in 1985. He was invited to be a guest professor in the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in September 1998. He well-reads, and is knowledgeable of eastern and western culture. Dr. Zhu takes carrying forward the excellent traditional culture, reconstructing the consciousness of the Chinese cultural subject and promoting the all-round modernization of China as his responsibilities. Dr. Zhang not only studies the philosophy of Kant, but also researches “I-Ching.

Hetu and Luoshu, two mysterious designs which are regarded as the origin of HeLuo Culture and Chinese civilization. They are handed down from ancient China and full of Chinese dialectical wisdom such as Tai Chi, Yin and Yang, Four Images, Five Elements, Eight Diagrams and The Nine Palaces. Hetu and Luoshu are called “Magic Designs of the Universe”
