Biography

Dean Porterfield, is the Interim Dean at Wenzhou-Kean University, and the Associate Dean for the College of Business and Public Management at Kean University in New Jersey. Following a 17-year industry career he earned his Ph.D. in Logistics and Supply Chain from the University of Maryland at College Park.

He leveraged his supply chain industry experience to pursue research interests in supply chain relationships, disruptions, and technology applications. His research has been presented at national and international conferences and published in academic journals including Transportation Journal, The International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, Team Performance Management, The International Journal of Production Economics, and The Journal of Computer Information Systems.
