曹江博士是温州肯恩大学商务与公共管理学院院长、美国肯恩大学商务与公共管理学院副院长。温州肯恩大学是中国目前具有独立法人资格的三所中美合作大学之一。作为商学院院长,他有极大的学术和行政责任和管理范围,同时寻求推进与跨国公司和中国本土企业的合作与交流;作为兼任美国肯恩大学的副院长,他是连接美肯和温肯的核心人物。

曹江博士是一位有着二十余年国际教学经验的金融学教授,曾在执教的大学被评为最佳任课教师。他长期与金融、管理和国际商务领域的顶级学者合作研究,并在顶尖学术期刊上发表过数篇论文,近期的学术成果发表在《管理与组织研究》(Management and Organization Review)和《银行与金融日报》(Journal of Banking and Finance)上。文章及观点被CNBC、雅虎金融、费城问询报、NBC、福克斯费城、电讯报和众多其他地方和国际媒体引述。同时,他还担任亚太经贸合作组织工商咨询理事会跨境电商在线学习平台建设项目(APEC ABAC Cross-Board E-Commerce Training Platform) 学术带头人。

曹江博士多年来担任的大学行政职务包括代理院长、系主任、教职员福利委员会主席、实验审查委员会主席(IRB)、晋升和职务委员会主席等。他还是一名经验丰富的人才招聘专家,是学生实践与学术研究的倡导者,也是一个有经验的大学建设者。他曾多年服务于校董会,并帮助学校投资委员会管理大学的捐赠基金。

在开始他的学术生涯之前, 曹江博士任职于纽约市一家投资银行。他的职业成就包括:为一位国际顶级金融家开发一套股票/债券/商品指数套利交易系统;作为纽约州检察长的专家证人,帮助指证美国一家大型公司滥用转让定价和逃税行为;为世界前100强企业的对冲操作进行诊断测试;为一家大型投资银行建立利差模型;对新聘的金融分析师进行培训和指导;并在出口废油方面克服监管障碍。

在业余生活中,曹江博士是古典音乐爱好者、老爷车和摩托车鉴赏家、电子管发烧友,同时也是远足和赛艇爱好者。

Cao Jiang (CJ) is the founding business school dean at Wenzhou Kean University (WKU) – affiliated with Kean University in New Jersey. Along with NYU Shanghai and Duke Kunshan, WKU is one of three American universities in China achieved full legal person status. Overseeing 74% of the university student population, he manages a sweeping range of academic and administrative responsibilities, and seeks and advances relationships with the business communities, both domestic and globally. Concurrently as an Associate Dean at Kean and through daily phone calls and frequently travels, he is the key link in the integration of China operations with those in the U.S.

Before his leadership role at WKU, CJ has been researching with top scholars in the field of finance, management, and international business. Recent academic publications include ones in top journals such as Management and Organization Review and Journal of Banking and Finance; and media appearance CNBC, Yahoo Finance, CBS MarketWatch, Philadelphia Inquirer, NBC and Fox Philadelphia, De Telegraaf, and numerous other international outlets. One of his research papers is currently under the 3rd round revision at Administrative Science Quarterly. He leads various projects including APEC Cross-border e-Commerce eLearning Platform, and has extensive interactions with captains of industry around the world through APEC Business Advisory Council and other venues. A top rated professor in American classrooms with over two decades of teaching experience, CJ also served many years on an Investment Committee managing a university endowment, aside from being on other Board of Trustee committees. Other academic leadership and budgetary roles included acting dean, department chair, chairperson roles on faculty senate welfare committee (the de facto union boss negotiating salary and benefits for university faculty and professional staff members), IRB, and promotion and contract. He is also a prolific faculty recruiter, a strong advocate for student research and learning by practice, as well as an experienced institutional developer.

CJ practiced in the investment banking industry in the New York City. His accomplishment includes the development of an equity/bond/commodity index arbitrage trading system for a major international financier; an expert witness for the Attorney General of State of New York, involving alleged abusive transfer pricing and tax evasion by a major U.S. firm; the diagnostic testing of the hedging operation of a Fortune 100 company; the development of an interest-spread model for a major investment bank; research supervisory and the training of newly hired financial analysts; and navigating through regulation hurdles in exporting slop oil.

During his pastime, he is an avid classical music lover, vintage car and motorcycle aficionado, electronic hobbyist, and hiking and rowing enthusiast.
