CEB Wenzhou Branch signed strategic cooperation agreement with WKU

In the afternoon of October 27, Strategic Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony between Wenzhou Branch of China Everbright Bank and WKU and “CEB Young Talent Program Practice Base” Plaque Awarding Ceremony were held in WKU. Both sides reached strategic cooperation relationship on offering practice posts, financial products and service, etc.

Zhang Zhenyu, former Deputy Secretary General of Wenzhou Municipal Government and incumbent Director of Wenzhou Finance Office, and Ye dawei, Secretary of Party Committee and President of CEB Wenzhou Branch were present at the signing ceremony. Wang Beijiao, Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of WKU, Philip Connally, executive vice president of WKU, Ying Yonghong, member of Party Committee and Director of China Social Survey and Research Center, and Cao Jiangyi, Dean of Business College, were present at yesterday’s ceremony.

According to the agreement, CEB will make use of its own advantages to provide a wide range of effective financial products and services to WKU, to meet the demands of WKU on financial services during running. WKU will take full advantage of the platform built by both sides to bring its own advantages into play and actively explore cooperation in multiple forms. It’s noteworthy that CEB will offer more than 20 Young Talent Program (nationwide) internship places and more than 10 directional internship places to WKU students and will deliver financial lecture in WKU, assist WKU in enrollment and provide high-quality financial products for WKU faculty and students.

For this cooperation, Wang Beijiao, Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of WKU, showed that a considerable proportion of WKU graduates worked in the financial system, so the cooperation would cultivate more international talents, offer more occupational choices for WKU students and help them to better realize their own values.

After the signing ceremony, both sides held the “CEB Young Talent Program Practice Base” Plaque Awarding Ceremony. Afterwards, Zhang Zhenyu, former Deputy Secretary General of Wenzhou Municipal Government and incumbent Director of Wenzhou Finance Office once participated in Wenzhou financial reform and innovation, delivered theme lecture on innovation driving and risk prevention. At last, WKU students exchanged ideas with CEB financial experts on economic and financial trend, employment needs of commercial bank, experience working in banks and other aspects.
