10 projects of WKU included into National College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program by Higher Education Department of Ministry of Education

Recently, Higher Education Department of Ministry of Education released the list of National College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program in 2017, which included 10 projects of WKU.

According to statistics, 115 universities directly under MOE and education authorities from 31 provinces applied for this program, of which 36,000 projects were approved by the program. Including 29,878 innovation training projects, 4124 entrepreneurship training projects and 1,998 entrepreneurial practice projects.

Projects of WKU approved by the program are of different subjects, from developing “Cloud Clinic” platform in high schools and communities to campus GIS navigation, from ecological restoration of Wenruitang River to integration of VR technology into treatment of autistic children, from shooting micro-film to development of emoji management APP. Most of them have been listed into WKU Student Partnering with Faculty (SPF) program.

Although National College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program will not directly provide fund support, projects listed into this program will be helpful for students to apply for graduate degree and other research projects in the future.
