WKU Delegation Attends the Zhejiang (Czech Republic) International Education Expo

Recently, Zhejiang (Czech Republic) International Education Expo was held in the Czech Brno Convention Center. WKU delegation led by Huang Xianbiao, member of CPC Committee and secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection, has come to Czech to attend the Education expo.

The Education Expo was co-held by the Department of Commerce and Department of Education of Zhejiang Province in Brno, the second largest city in Czech. As a part of the “Central European Higher Education Exhibition”, one of the largest education expos in Central Europe, 37 colleges and universities all around Zhejiang Province have joined the Education Expo. Wang Jianman, Vice President of Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and Guo Huawei, Director of the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province, have also attended the opening ceremony and visited the Education Expo.

In the expo, the WKU advertising video and classy souvenirs have attracted the sights of many Czech students. Most of Czech students do not know well about WKU, but they showed keen interests in such Sino-US cooperative school system after our introductions and recommendations. Particularly, teaching in English is a big attraction to Czech students. Czech students have consulted for more information on all disciplines and especially paid attention to the business major. During the expo, ZJTV International Channel has exclusively interviewed Wenzhou-Kean University, and the WKU delegation has also visited the Czech Brno Technical University, University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw and other European universities for negotiation and cooperation.
