Kean University has selected Zoom as our new web conferencing solution. Zoom provides remote conferencing services using cloud computing and offers communications software that combines video conferencing, online meetings, chat, and mobile collaboration. The cloud recording capability included in the Kean University site-license extended meeting time limit from 40 minutes to 24 hours up to 300 participants.

Directions to get Zoom working on your desktop/laptop

  1. Go to the following link: http://kean-edu.zoom.us. (Note: This is Zoom U. S. version, NOT the Chinese version. Chinese version cannot identify your meeting IDs.)

2. Click “Download Client” at the bottom. Just choose “Zoom Client for Meetings” and download it.

3. Click “Sign In” and choose “Sign In with SSO”.

4. Type in “Kean-edu” as the domain. Click the continue button, it will takes you to the Kean SSO page (VPN required in this step).

5. Sign in with your Kean Google e-mail credentials. (VPN required in this step). It will automatically back to zoom app with your account, and enjoy to use zoom.
