Introduction

The Office of Strategic Planning and Institutional Research（P&IR）is a service unit for WKU that provides information, analysis, and planning support to assist in decision-making that advances the mission of the University. P&IR will be on the leading edge of strategic planning and institutional research in higher education.

Mission

1. Policy research: P&IR conducts policy research and provides information, analysis, and planning support to assist in decision-making that advances the mission of the university;
2. Strategic planning: P&IR coordinates and facilitates university planning;
3. Data collection: P&IR serves as a resource in data analysis and planning and provides consistent and accurate compliance and management data internally and externally. (Figures and Facts)
