Allyson Kellum

Educational Background

Allyson earned a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Montana and a M.A. in Applied Linguistics from the University of New England.  She is currently working on a second M.A. in Linguistics at Bogazici University.

Biography

Allyson grew up enjoying family and outdoor activities in Montana.  Her lifelong passion for language and culture has led her to work in international education in the US and seven countries.  Allyson loves nothing more than listening to others, especially her students, and challenging her class to reflect on their experiences, explore new ideas, and express themselves.

Research interests

Allyson is interested in first language attrition, language processing, phonetics, and phonology.
