Chun-Te Lee

Dr. Chun-Te Lee is a faculty in the Department of Mathematics, Wenzhou-Kean University. Dr Lee received Ph.D. in mathematics from Oxford University. He is always interested to apply mathematical principles to problems in mathematical modeling, engineering and physics. Especially for those problems that can generate new insights into mathematics and numerical techniques.

His research interests lie in the intersections of analysis and applied mathematics with applications to physics, engineering, and mathematics. Most of his research are inspired from applications in computational mathematics and mathematical physics. In addition, he also focused on applying machine learning and data analysis techniques to practical problems and shows strong interests in probability and statistical modeling as well as machine learning models including neural networks

 

He has been teaching a wide range of mathematical courses including Calculus, Linear algebra and probability and statistics, and Partial differential equations. He has coordinated the Academia-Industry Consortium for Data Science, Wenzhou, China, 19-20th Dec 2020 and served on the Technical Committee member of the 6th International Conference on Big Data and Computing ICBDC2021.

Biography

Dr Lee earned his PhD from University of Oxford and pursued post doctoral research in Taiwan. He has over 10 years’ experience of research in the fields of nonlinear physic. In addition, Dr Lee has a rich experience in teaching applied mathematics, data mining, probability & statistics, numerical computation with Matlab, Maple, Mathematica, and Python.

Research interests

My area of research interests are: computational mathematics, in nonlinear physics, numerical analysis, computational Physics, numerical analysis, and mathematical modeling.
