Prior to his current lecturer position in the School of English Studies at Wenzhou-Kean University, Glenn held a position as Visiting Lecturer in the English Department at Community College of Philadelphia. Other long-term higher education experience in the United States includes teaching at Camden County College in southern New Jersey, Glenn’s primary residence of many years. Early in his education career, Glenn was a bi-lingual/ESL elementary school teacher in the historical port city of Penns Grove, New Jersey.

Internationally, Glenn taught English at the Royal Saudi Air Defense College, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and served for two years as an English Teaching Fellow in Honduras, Central America under the auspices of the United States Information Agency. As a student, he spent an undergraduate semester at the University of Costa Rica and took two terms of graduate study in Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain.

Glenn’s academic education and career have allowed him to pursue his lifelong interest in social studies and language, resulting in his becoming fluent in Spanish, proficient in Portuguese, and intimately familiar with the geographical, political, and social landscape of
many countries on many continents. He’s now delighted to have the opportunity of contributing to Wenzhou-Kean University and to further his personal growth as he becomes familiar with the people and language of China.
