I am originally from Bristol in the United Kingdom, but I’ve spent the past few years living in Harbin in North China. I have been working in Education for the past 7 years, where I’ve come to specialize in student migration, specifically Chinese students who want to but cannot study abroad. I am currently completing the research for my PHD while enjoying every new challenge that my role at WKU can offer.

Student migration; Global higher education; Educational inequality & barriers to entry; Family educational dynamics

Currently I teach ENG 1300 and ESL 0305 for first year students.
