Biography

Dr. Rosalie Muertigue Palaroan, a Filipina who sets her heart in educating young people brings with her a wealth of teaching and research. She has spent more than 2 decades in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate level in the Philippines and in Fiji. She is a graduate of Doctor of Education major in Educational Management at University of Southern Philippines, Cebu City, Philippines and obtained her Master’s in Education major in Social Science at Visayas State University, Philippines. She has graduated her Bachelor of Arts major in Political Science at the University of San Carlos, Philippines.
She has published various papers in an international peer reviewed journal and will be publishing more of her works/research. Her research interest focuses on social problems and development education. Currently she is writing a paper titled “Rethinking Pedagogical Love in the Educational Context: An Approach to Generation Z Learners”. Dr. Palaroan frequently works with postgraduate students who are interested in doing research on social problems and educational issues. Her teaching experience on diverse students made her teaching and learning meaningful and inspired her to enroll PhD in Development Education. Dr Rosalie always win the heart of the students with humility and friendship.
