Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW)
The instructional skills workshop is designed to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of various teaching methodologies and strategies to enhance their teaching performance during a 4-day workshop. Participants will learn about the principles of instructional design and techniques for effective lesson planning and delivery. The workshop is a maximum of 5 attendees who will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned through 3 mini lessons that they present in a peer reflective group setting. Please reach out to Mr. Gray at your earliest convenience to secure your spot in the workshop. By the end of the 4-day workshop, participants will receive certification and will have gained invaluable skills to engage learners and create an effective learning environment. Over 29 WKU participants have taken this course since 2016 and it is offered in over 20 countries.
