退课(W)
退课(W)
In order to withdraw from one or more courses, a student must submit a KU Course Withdrawal Application via ONCE. Please be sure to enter the accurate course section.
The application can only be submitted on or before the published deadlines found on the Academic Calendar. After the application is processed, students should be able to see the “W” grade of the course on their transcripts in 24 hours.
The withdrawal or “W” grade is not counted in the cumulative grade point average. Any student who does not officially withdraw on or before the withdrawal date published in the academic calendar will be given a letter grade that reflects his or her achievement in the course.
Health and Wellness Absence
Health absences are granted for issues of a medical nature.
If a student applies for Leave of Absence due to health and wellness reasons prior to the last two weeks of a semester, the student will be withdrawn from the current semester (from all registered courses). The student will receive a "W" grade on their transcript for the semester.
If a student applies for Leave of Absence due to health and wellness reasons within the last two weeks of a semester and requests for course withdrawal, the student must submit an appeal to the Academic Appeals Committee of WKU. The student must understand the conditions of an approved late withdrawal by reading the Academic Appeal Guidelines and FAQs and filling out the WKU Student Appeals Form. The completed form, with supporting documentation, should be submitted via email to registrar@wku.edu.cn from the student’s WKU/Kean email address.
