2022 National Social Science Art Program (NSSAP)

Dear colleagues,

2022 National Social Science Art Program (NSSAP) is now available for you to apply for.

1. Categories:   

1.1 Key Program: 350,000 yaun

1.2 General Program: 200,000 yuan

1.3 Young Scientist Program: 200,000 yuan

The research period for a basic theoretical research project is 3-5 years; The research period for an applied countermeasure research project is 2-3 years.

2. Requirements   

2.1 Application limit in general

2.1.1 Applicant must have obtained either a doctorate degree or secondary senior position/title or above.

2.1.2 Applicants, who have obtained neither a doctorate degree nor a secondary senior position/title or above, can apply for the Young Scientist Program without recommendation. Applicants, who apply for the Young Scientist Program, must be born after March 15, 1987. Applicants, who are full-time graduate students, cannot apply for 2022 NSSAP.

2.1.3  As the principal investigators, applicants can only apply for one program and cannot participate in other programs as a team member. Applicants, who are not the principal investigators, can participate in a maximum of two programs. As the team members of uncompleted national research programs, applicants can participate in a maximum of one program.

2.1.4 Applicants, who are in charge of the NSSFC, the NSFC, or other national research programs, cannot apply for 2022 NSSAP.

2.1.5 As the principal investigators, applicants who will apply for 2022 NSFC, 2022 NSFC and other national research programs, cannot apply for 2022 NSSAP. As the team members, applicants cannot apply for 2022 NSSAP with the same or similar sponsored program topics.

2.1.6  As the principal investigators, applicants who will apply for the 2022 General Humanities and Social Science Research Program by Ministry of Education, cannot apply for 2022 NSSFC.

2.2 Application

2.3 Schedule

January 14-March 10, 2022. Please submit the application form (soft-copy) to the ORSP by 4:00 p.m. on March 10, 2022. Submission later than the schedule will not be accepted.
