Notice on Degree Photographing for 2025 Graduates
Dear Student,
All students who are admitted by the National College Entrance Examination and will meet the graduation requirements by the end of the coming Winter, Spring, and Summer semesters of 2025 are required to sit for an official graduation photo by the Xinhua Press. The graduate photo will be uploaded to the CHSI system and printed on your WKU certificate of degree and certificate of graduation.
The graduation photo will be taken on campus at the following time and place:
November 25&26, 2024, 9:00-11:30, 13:00-16:10
2nd Floor of Dining Hall No.1
The graduate photo taken by Xinhua Press is your official graduate photo in the CHSI system, taken once only and cannot be changed. Please treat your appearance and dress seriously.
Students will be required to show the CHSI Photo QR code on-site (see attachment 1 for the tutorial provided by Xinhua Press). Please have your CHSI photo QR code ready before the photographing!
*Students who fail to obtain the QR code due to the change of their expected graduation year, please contact the Office of the Registrar as soon as possible.
Please dress neatly for the photo; without sunglasses, head coverings (unless worn for medical or religious reasons), ornaments, jewelry, headphones, etc... Hair must be worn in such a way that it does not obscure your face. It is recommended to wear a white-collared shirt. Do not wear hooded clothing or blue/purple/yellow/green/pink clothes; do not wear heavy makeup (no eye shadow/blush/highlight/glasses/contact lenses, etc.). Please attend the photo taking per your major during the designated time slot below. It may take 20-40 minutes to wait depending on the queue length. You can attend the photo taking at other time slots if you have courses in the designated hour:

The fee is 20 RMB, pay via Alipay on-site. No cash.
You will have to go to China Xinhua News Agency’s Zhejiang Branch in Hangzhou (or another Province’s branch) before March 31, 2025 (before December 31, 2024, for those who apply for graduation in winter) to take your graduate photo if you miss the collective photo taking for personal reasons.
